Kundalini Yoga Music

Music resonates within the soul.  Our physical bodies are
70% water, and the cells vibrate with the sound current
playing inside.  Sacred sounds permeate the oceans within
us and elevate our spirit.  So, turn off the tv.  Turn off the
noise, and tune into the akashic record of your soul.

I play a lot of music in class, and I always am writing
down on scraps of paper the names of the CDs that I
play.  So, guys, just click on the links below, and you’ll
have a direct conduit to the beautiful music – the song of
the soul.  All of the links let you preview the music with
real player.

*  Prem by Snatam Kaur Khalsa

Absolutely the most requested CD in class.

*  Angel's Walz by Sada Sat Kaur Khalsa

Sada Sat is on my pictures webpage.  She is a

beloved teacher and friend.

*  Shabd II Overcoming Addictions

Overcoming destructive habits is hard.  Music lifts you up so that automatic old responses are replaced with healthy ones.  Meditate for 40 days, listening to one of the shabds (sacred sound currents) in easy pose with your right hand at the center of your chest (heart center) and your left on top of the right hand.  My favorite is Jo Maangeh – for fulfillment of every wish.  It is 15:29 minutes.  Don’t you have 15 minutes for yourself?

Jo Maangeh translated:  “In all four directions, you have extended your Power.  Upon my head, you have placed your hand.  With your Eye of Mercy, you have dispelled my miseries.  You have saved me from darkness to light.  You have drawn me to your heart, and all my pain has been erased.  You are always there for me.  Truth now and Truth Hereafter.”

*  Raga Sadhana by Sangeet Kaur

My favorite CD of the seven chants for early morning meditation.  You can also play it on your way to work in the morning!

Wah Yantee House of Light -- Kirtan at Peace Learning Center,

Eagle Creek Park

*  Har Haray Haree Wahe Guru by Simran Kaur

A mantra of joy and creativity in motion.  I listened to this mantra

for 62 minutes during White Tantric Yoga in Los Angeles.  The zig=zag

energy of 300 people meditating in motion took me to another planet!

*  Mool Mantra by Simran Kaur

The root of all mantras. Four-hundred years ago, Guru Nanak left

on a spiritual quest.  When he finally was seen again, he was chanting

this mantra as he ascended out of a  body of water.  It means, "The

creator of all is One. Truth is the Name. Doer of everything, fearless,

revengeless, undying, unborn, self-realized, realized through Guru's Grace, Meditate: True in the beginning, true through all the ages, true even now. Nanak shall ever be true."

*  Deeply Relax and Meditate, Collection

This is the companion CD to the book Kundalini Yoga by Shakta Kaur Khalsa.

*  Universal Mantra by Satkirin Kaur

Played at Golden Bridge in LA in Gurmukh’s classes.
